Bobby Bones Wants a Bob Ross Painting on His Baby Registry

Bobby Bones admits he’s not sure what to put on a baby registry. He says he and his wife don’t really need anything, but now he feels bad that people want to get them gifts and he hasn’t given them a place to do so.

While thinking about what he might actually want, Bobby started talking about his personal bucket list. He’s never really kept one because he prefers to just “go do stuff,” but there are a few experiences he’d love to have someday:

  • Take batting practice at Wrigley Field
  • Sleep on a train
  • Interview David Letterman
  • Own a Bob Ross painting

That last one? He thinks it deserves a spot on his “registry.” Bobby joked that the show could all pitch in to buy him a Bob Ross painting as a baby gift. He found an article about Ross’s paintings being auctioned to raise money for public television. He suggested if all five people on the show chipped in, it would be $5,000 apiece… but if all eight joined, it’d be just $3,500 each! Amy was quick to point out one small problem: those paintings are expected to go for $850,000 to $1.4 million. So Bobby might have underestimated that one a bit.

He asked the group if it would be weird to have a baby registry that doesn’t include baby-related items. Amy said it’s not wrong, but it’s definitely weird. When Bobby said he’d hang the Bob Ross painting in the nursery, Amy agreed, now it’s baby-related after all!
