Taylor Swift To Collaborate with Sugarland on Duo's New Album

Taylor Swift appears to be slowly making her way back into country music.

The one-time country phenomenon will appear on Sugarland’s new album Bigger on a song she also co-wrote with Train’s Pat Monahan.

“Babe,” the only song Sugarland didn’t write themselves on their first new project in eight years, comes nearly two years after Taylor wrote Little Big Town’s “Better Man,” which went on to win the CMA Song of the Year and GRAMMY Best Duo/Group Performance for LBT.

The announcement also comes one day after the “Delicate” singer dropped two country-tinged acoustic Spotify covers, one for her current pop single and another of Earth, Wind & Fire’s classic “September.”

She also recently made a surprise comeback at Nashville’s Bluebird Café to perform “Love Story,” “Shake It Off” and “Better Man.”

Taylor’s Reputation Stadium Tour begins May 8 at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.

Look for “Babe” on Sugarland’s Bigger, dropping June 8.
